The Altar Guild members of St. John’s Lutheran Church perform behind the scenes preparation for our worship services each week.  Parament colors are changed according to the church year calendar, candles are kept filled, flower contributions are monitored, and the Holy Sacraments of communion and baptism are prepared.

Altar Guild occasionally meets early in the spring and fall to prepare for the two major festivals of Easter and Christmas.  Through the support of the congregation, Easter and Christmas plants are provided along with additional financial support enabling St. John’s to decorate during these holidays.  The group very much appreciates the financial support as well as the weekly flowers donated toward the Flower Fund.

If you would like to join this group to share your talents and offer your time please contact the church secretary.
