St. John’s Befrienders (Christian caregivers) are a group of caring and dedicated people who provide care to our congregation. Our Befrienders share the love of Christ in many ways: by extending a listening ear, making visits into people’s homes, helping with transportation or errands, writing notes of encouragement, checking in with encouraging phone calls, making hospital visits, and offering prayer.

Befrienders meet each month for ongoing training in order to extend the care of the pastor and congregation in loving ways.

Do you know someone among us who could use a gesture of care? Are you struggling with health concerns? Could you or someone you know benefit from a caring individual from St. John’s? Call the church office at 882-4044 and share a name with us. In the meantime, pray for our Befrienders and for those in need, that the care of Christ would be abundant in our community.
