Weather Cancellations

The church council has adopted the following policy regarding severe weather cancellations:

Churchwide events will be cancelled if there is a severe storm warning including a tornado watch or warning in effect one hour prior to the scheduled event. Church services will be cancelled in the event a blizzard warning is issued at 6:00 pm Saturday evening or later.

Churchwide events may also be cancelled at the discretion of the church council.

A churchwide event is defined as any gathering which is open to the entire congregation or to which the entire congregation has been invited. Cancellation of community events or non-churchwide events is left to those responsible for their events.
