NOTE: Although you are welcome to use your Bible of choice for this study, the publishers suggest that there are a number of benefits to using the official Bible in 90 Days edition:

1. Daily readings are marked right in the text.
2. Large print makes it easy on the eyes.
3. Small, portable size makes it easy to bring with you and comfortable to read.
4. Because this version contains minimal study notes, it’s easier to read the Bible text (our goal) without getting sidetracked by lots of helpful (but time-consuming) commentary.
5. Common page numbers will make it easy to discuss passages in our weekly sessions, even if you aren’t able to quickly look up a passage by chapter and verse.

That said, Pastor Bob intends to use his own Bible.

St. John’s Lutheran Church is pleased to host “The Bible in 90 Days.” The Bible in 90 Days is a reading program designed to guide participants through the Bible, from cover to cover, 12 pages at a time, over the course of three months.

In addition to the individual reading, all participants will gather for weekly hour-long sessions at either St. John’s (on Sunday evenings) or Real Coffee in downtown Evansville (on Tuesday afternoons). These sessions will provide an opportunity for conversation about the week’s readings, a brief video lesson by experts on the text, and a dose of camaraderie and fellowship that will help us stick with the reading plan.

This program is open to anyone who wants to read the entire Bible. There are no prerequisites, other than a willingness to read carefully and regularly.

What is The Bible in 90 Days?
The Bible in 90 Days is a Bible READING curriculum. It helps people read attentively the entire Bible-from cover to cover-in 90 days.

What ISN’T The Bible in 90 Days?
The Bible in 90 Days is NOT a speed-read through the Bible. Rather, it’s akin to reading the Bible like a novel.

What is the process, in a nutshell?
Each participant reads on his or her own, then gathers once a week with other participants. The weekly meetings include guided small group discussion, activities, and a video lesson.

Why 90 days?
Because most people can wrap their minds around doing something for 90 days, and can manage 12 pages per day.

Do I have to be a Christian to join?
Not at all! Anyone with a desire to read the whole Bible is welcome to join us.
