The St. John’s Committes are defined by the church Constitution and designed to maintain the worship vitality, spiritual health, outreach efforts and physical properties of the church community. A Church Council Representative is appointed for a one year term to maintain the activities of the committee. That representative is not necessarily the chairperson or the person responsible for its activities. The church membership is welcomed and encouraged to join these committees so their continued existence has consistent direction and activity to assure the vibrancy of our church life.

The purpose of the Mission Endowment Fund is to receive gifts from individuals, trusts, grants, bequests or property and then to administer the income from these gifts for religious, educational and charitable programs through St. Johnʼs Lutheran Church. The principal is preserved and only the interest earned on the fund is expended.
The Mission Endowment Fund Committee typicallymeets quarterly. Information on the Mission Endowment Fund may be obtained from the church office or by contacting one of the committee members, Gene Miller, Craig OʼLeary, Nancy Nelson, Ken Fenrick or Deanna Jeans. Giving to the Endowment Fund is a fine way to honor someone, to celebrate a special event, or to memorialize someone.
