We invite you to join our congregation.

St. John’s has been serving the community of Evansville for more than 70 years, and God’s Spirit is living and lively among us. Our doors and hearts are open to everyone who wishes to follow Jesus with us, side by side, as fellow children of God.

It’s easy to become a member!

If you are already a member of an ELCA congregation:

To become a member at St. John’s, simply ask your pastor to send a letter of transfer to us. As soon as we receive it, we’ll get in touch with you to make arrangements for completing your transfer.

If you are not already a member of an ELCA congregation:

Take the first step today by downloading and completing a personal membership profile. When you return it to the church office, we’ll work with you to make the membership process painless.

Whether you’re transferring from another congregation, joining from another faith, or coming to us with no previous religious background, we are delighted that God is calling you. Please let us know if we can be of assistance to you in any way.
