Parish Secretary

Deb Fredendall

Deborah Fredendall

Deborah Fredendall

My name is Deborah Fredendall. I have worked as St. John’s Parish Secretary since 1991. When the job was posted I was working as an Administrative Assistant at Stoughton Hospital and thought, “that would be a great job – working for my church family.” My church family is very important to me and my family, so being able to help  things run smoothly in the parish office has many rewards.

I have been married to Scott, my high school sweet heart for over 35 years.  We have two children Jeff (Jeff his partner), Amy (husband Jamie) and their daughter Ellie Faith. Having Ellie in our lives is a wonderful gift from God.

When I’m not working at church I enjoy waking in the outdoors, working in garden, baking, cooking meals for my family and especially playing with Ellie. Winter months I enjoy relaxing and watching my special TV programs.

Shelly Andrew has been the Financial Secretary at St. John’s since spring of 2008. She has lived in the Evansville area since the age of two, when her family moved here, and has been a member of St. John’s since then. She and Ken, her high school sweetheart have been married for twenty eight years, and have three children, Phil, Carly and Jorie. After running a business with her husband for 16 years, they made the decision to close the business, and she is attending Blackhawk Technical College to pursue a degree as a Registered Nurse. She really enjoys her part time job here, and feels it is a wonderful connection with the church.
